Wendy's Clerk Attacks 'Disrespectful' Drive-Thru Customer

A Florida woman will not be winning an employee of the month award anytime soon. Rather, Wendy's employee Rictoria Bethea is facing more than just employment termination after her latest and last shift with the fast food chain ended with an attack on a "disrespectful" drive-thru customer.

The Wendy's drive thru attack started after Bethea, 21, told customer Chloe Glover to speak up when placing her drive-thru order. After several failed attempts Bethea told it to her straight: "There's no need to disrespect me, because I will go out there and kick your ass." And go out there and kick her ass is exactly what she did.

MSNBC reports that Bethea walked out of the restaurant, told Glover to roll down her window and then proceeded to rip out her hair extensions and punch her in the face before Wendy's employees were able to separate the two.

Bethea was ultimately arrested and taken to the local jail. She has since been released on $5,000 bail and charged with battery. Unfortunately for Bethea, a disrespectful customer does not fall within the bounds of any legitimate legal excuse for her actions. Battery is an offense that can have civil and criminal consequences if the victim wishes to pursue them.
