Sean Bean Stabbed: Game of Thrones Star in Bar Brawl
British actor Sean Bean, stabbed Sunday night outside a pub in North West London, has proved that he takes his tough guy image a little too seriously--on and off the screen.
Not only did he spend his night smoking cigarettes and being on the receiving end of a stab to the arm, the star of HBO's Game of Thrones indulged in his white knight fantasies and skipped the hospital in favor of another drink.
Sean Bean was outside his usual watering hole with 22-year-old former Playboy model April Summers when a few men walked by and made lewd comments, reports the Daily Mail.
He went after them, challenging them to a duel (or, a throwdown, whatever), which the paper reports led to the attack later that evening.
Sam Bean, stabbed in the arm with glass and suffering from a punch to the face, reportedly went back into the bar, where employees handed him the first aid kit, and he ordered another drink.
While it's all nice and good to defend the honor of a Playboy model, it would be wise to refrain from challenging her offenders to any sort of physical melee.
Though the Daily Mail reports that London police are keeping mum on the incident, chances are if you are not a famous actor and would not receive such treatment.
Moreover, prosecutors and courts don't look too kindly upon people who elevate verbal confrontations into physical ones, meaning that you could be busted for inciting violence.
So, though Sam Bean, stabbed as he may be, probably had good intentions, it's best not to try this at home. And if you do, go to the hospital--you don't know where that glass has been.
