Nude Maid Service in Conservative TX Town Raises Eyebrows

A small business owner has recently opened a nude maid service in Lubbock, Texas. But cops in the area aren't smiling at the young woman's attempt to get more customers.

Melissa Borrett, 26, says her house-cleaning business, Fantasy Maid Service, is just that: a business that cleans homes, nothing more. However, officers in the conservative West Texas city say Borrett might not be in full compliance with local laws.

So how much will it cost you to have this naked maid clean up your pad?

The Texas native and mother charges $100 an hour for one maid. But patrons looking for something spicier can pay $150 two. See all the hot cleaning action at the end of this post.

Borrett started the business after she found herself struggling financially as a waitress, the Associated Press Reports. Since opening, she's been able to hire three more maids and earned enough to move into a home with her 2-year-old daughter.

Customers aren't allowed to touch her or her employees, Borrett said. She's there to clean and after she's done, that's it.

But police claim Borrett might be breaking local ordinances by not having a permit to operate a sexually oriented business. The permit costs $650 annually and requires a $5,000 bond or credit letter.

The law's language seems pretty broad, as it defines a sexually oriented business as any where the "primary business activity" is to sexually gratify or stimulate customers.

It's hard to say where Borrett's nude maid service falls in this range. But if the cops are right, Borrett could face fines up to $2,000.

Borrett doesn't plan to stop her business and says she'll fight the city if they try to shut her down.

Police aren't saying how they'll monitor Borrett in the future. But for now, Lubbock residents will continue to have a nude maid service.
