Nelly Sex Assault Lawsuit Disappears

In 2017, Nelly was accused of raping Monique Greene, a 21 year old woman, on his tour bus in Washington. The rape charges were eventually dismissed because Greene refused to testify. Greene quickly followed with a lawsuit for sexual assault and defamation. In that suit, Greene included the testimony of two other women that allege Nelly sexually assaulted them in the U.K.

In addition to damages, Greene requested that Nelly be ordered to never sexually assault again, which is an odd relief request. Nelly counter-sued for defamation.

Gone

And now the whole ordeal has come to an abrupt end, at least in the courtroom. Both sides have mutually agreed to drop their respective lawsuits, and since the lawsuit was dropped "with prejudice," Greene will not be able to re-file the lawsuit in the future.

It's Gettin' Hot in Herre

Though Nelly's representatives claim that "no settlement or money changed hands," Greene's attorney is saying that's fake news. Nelly still has his hands full, as the U.K. continues its investigation into the sexual assault claims by the two women noted in the Greene case.
