Millionaire Dentist Stole College Student's Credit Card to Buy Pizza

Harrun Majeed, a navy veteran and current college student, was picking up supplies for his son's birthday when he lost his credit card. Unable to find the card and needing to prep for the family party, he headed home to give the bank a call, reports local station WTSP. Unfortunately, he was too late.

Someone had already used the card.

Turns out Richard Ludwig, a millionaire dentist, was the culprit. He bought two large pizzas and arrogantly sprung for extra olives.

After speaking to the bank representative, Harrun Majeed visited the local pizza parlor, where the owner phoned the local sheriff's department. Employees "stalled" Richard Ludwig until the officers arrived, reports The Daily Mail. It wasn't hard--the pizza-loving millionaire dentist sat around chatting on his cell phone.

When police arrived, they found out that Richard Ludwig was neither drunk nor in financial trouble, details The Daily Mail. He just thought it would be a good idea to use the misplaced credit card even though it clearly read "Harrun Majeed."

It is undoubtedly illegal to use another person's credit card without permission. Doing so can result in prosecution for credit card theft, identity theft, fraud, larceny, and a variety of other felonies and misdemeanors under state and federal law. Because credit card-related crimes are on the rise and pose serious problems, offenders often receive jail time.

As for the millionaire part of millionaire dentist, Richard Ludwig is worth $4 million and had $250 in his pocket when arrested, according to The Daily Mail. Since he clearly hasn't spent all of that on pizza, perhaps he'll be able to afford an expensive lawyer.
