Man Sues FL Strip Club Over 'Impossible' $50K Bar Tab

Lokesh Simon James is suing a strip club he freely admits to have visited. The basis for his lawsuit: James says just do the math.

James went to a Clearwater, Florida strip club for three hours. He rang up what he felt should have been a $600 tab.

To his surprise, when he checked his credit card bill, he noticed that the Bliss Cabaret had charged him with a $50,000 bill. Now he's suing for what he calls fraudulent charges.

The Bliss Cabaret apparently charges only $20 a dance. So James wants to know just how he was charged the $50,000, reports The Tampa Tribune. That's a cool 2,500 lap dances in those three hours. That's a lap dance every five seconds with money to spare if you're counting. 

It's unclear if James or any man would have the stamina to withstand such a lap attack.

The 32-year-old James tried to settle the disputed charge with his credit card company. But because James admitted to visiting the strip club, he was told he couldn't report the charge as fraudulent, reports the Tribune.

It was not reported if Bliss Cabaret had an explanation of how anyone could manage such a bill. Perhaps the strip club had a particularly expensive bottle service.

In his lawsuit, James demands that the strip club repay him the amount that he was overcharged. He also wants interest, attorney fees, and court costs.
