'Lost' Star Matthew Fox Arrested for DUI in Oregon

"Lost" actor Matthew Fox was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. Fox was charged with DUII -- driving while under the influence of intoxicants, as it's called in Oregon -- after police pulled him over Friday at 3:23 am in Bend, Oregon.

The star was apparently going to a fast food restaurant, TMZ reports. Police noticed he failed to signal properly or stay in his lane. Fox was taken into custody, but was released later the same day.

But, as with every celebrity arrest, the burning question is, where's his mug shot?

Well, unfortunately, the station's mug shot machine was broken. So there'll be no Nick Nolte-esque embarrassment for Fox to live down.

On the negative side for the actor, Fox could potentially have his license suspended if he's convicted.

In Oregon, a DUII conviction can strip a person of their driver's license for 90 days for the first offense and up to a year for additional ones. Drivers can also be required to attend alcohol education classes and be assessed for alcohol treatment. In extreme cases, vehicle confiscation is also possible.

Fortunately for Fox, he doesn't appear to have any other DUI convictions on his record. So he might get off pretty easy.

This isn't the "Lost" actor's first run-in with the law. Last August, he was accused of punching a female bus driver after he wasn't allowed onto a bus. He wasn't charged with any offense, but the driver later filed a civil lawsuit against him. Fox filed a countersuit claiming the bus driver hit him.

Though Matthew Fox's DUII arrest is certainly a blemish on his record, his film career is still going strong. The actor is slated to appear in Brad Pitt's upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie film "World War Z."
