Lindsay Lohan Handcuffed as Judge Revokes Probation
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan was handcuffed and taken away from a courtroom in Los Angeles this morning. After a scathing dress down from the judge, the impeccably dressed Lohan's probation was revoked.
Lohan fans, fear not. The actress won't be spending any time behind bars (yet). Though her bail was set at a hefty $100,000, a bondsman was ready at the court to post the amount. She is due back in court on November 2 for a probation violation hearing.
The Mean Girls starlet got herself into legal trouble again by allegedly blowing off her community service obligations at the Downtown Women's Shelter.
How many second chances can one Hollywood has been get?
She was ordered to complete 360 hours of service at the non-profit organization as part of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI charge.
How many hours did Lilo actually complete? A paltry 21 hours, according to Judge Stephanie Sautner.
Only 21 hours? She completely blew off the judge's orders. In addition to the 360 hours at the women's shelter, the actress was also required to complete 120 hours of community service at the county morgue as part of her probation.
The biggest question seems to be whether or not Lohan will face jail time for her probation violation. After all, this isn't the first time she's been hauled back to court on charges that she's broken one of the conditions.
And it appears that Judge Sautner has already answered that question. She admitted, according to the Los Angeles Times, that jail was probably not the place for the star.
But that doesn't mean Lohan will be getting away scot-free, and she may be facing additional penalties like extra community service hours.
Maybe Lohan's probation being revoked will teach her a lesson. Could this be the last time Lindsay Lohan will be in handcuffs. She is supposed to be an actress, after all. Can anyone name the last movie role she was in, though?
