Leighton Meester Beat Mom with Bottle: Leighton's Mom Countersues

Upper East Side princess Blair Waldorf would never beat someone with a bottle! Would the actress who portrays her do something so uncouth? According to a new lawsuit, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester beat her mom last December. This allegation comes after Leighton's mom has countersued against her famous daughter, who recently filed a lawsuit against her mother.

Leighton's initial suit claimed that her mother, Constance Meester, was misusing $7,500 a month in funds she was sending to help her brother with his medical issues, reports The Daily Mail.

Leighton's mom was allegedly using these funds not on her brother's care but on Botox, plastic surgery, and hair extensions. Leighton filed suit, and her mother has countersued - with some shocking allegations.

Leighton's mom's countersuit first says that the $7,500 a month was not for medical care of Leighton's younger brother, but rather an agreement the two came to for Constance Meester's role in developing her daughter's career, reports The Daily Mail. And, Constance Meester also claims that they actually had an oral agreement to give her mother $10,000 a month for the rest of her life.

Not only that, but the countersuit says that Leighton assaulted her mother back in December, repeatedly hitting her with a bottle after throwing her onto the ground. The lawsuit says that Leighton's little brother had to come pull the Gossip Girl star off her mother, reports Today.

Leighton's mom is now claiming damages from the beating, breach of contract, fraud, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, Today reports.

Whatever the case, Leighton has asked a judge to rule that there was no such oral contract between mother and daughter, according to TMZ. Oftentimes, contracts do not need to be in writing to be enforceable, but maybe Leighton has credible proof that the contract never existed.

It seems that the family drama has only escalated, especially now that Leighton's mom has countersued. And, what about the allegations that Leighton Meester beat her mom? It's up to a court to decide if the accusations hold any weight.
