Lay Off Britney! Brit's Lawyers File Motion to Seal Docs
In an attempt to shield Britney Spears' two sons from the zeal of the paparazzi, Britney's lawyers have made a motion to the court to seal the documents containing sensitive information about the boys.
Spears' attorneys, Geraldine Wyle and Jeryll Cohen, have shown concern for the two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James, stating that the high profile nature of Britney's celebrity would expose the confidential medical information to the masses -- and potentially could garner a high price.
According to TMZ, Spears' attorneys state in the court documents: "A Google search for Ms. Spears' name yields 54,300,000 hits.... Photographs and personal information, particular information of a highly confidential nature (such as personal medical information of Ms. Spears and her children), can potentially reap thousands if not millions of dollars."
Indeed for her, this holds true, as Britney Spears' conservatorship hearings have been fodder for the paparazzi since she was placed under her father's care in 2008. In early 2008, Britney's father and her lawyer took over management of all of Britney's liquid assets, including her home, and issued a temporary restraining order against Britney's manager, Sam Lutfi.
Now, with two young boys in the picture (aged 3 and 4), Britney's attorneys are concerned about the release of their personal information and the sensationalism behind the pending Britney Spears conservatorship hearings. For Britney, it may be too late to protect her from the aggression of the paparazzi, but there may still be hope for her two young sons.
