Law Job in Boston: First Circuit Hiring Administrative Attorney

You have one week left to get your application materials in to the First Circuit Court of Appeals. The First Circuit has announced a job opening for Administrative Attorney.
The position is in Boston. The attorney will provide legal assistance to First Circuit courts, including the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the District Courts in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island.
The job tasks are administrative in nature, yet it's still a lawyer job. The candidate would essentially help with the administrative functions of the courts and help them operate smoothly. Job duties would include the preparation of memoranda on issues before the First Circuit Judicial Council and preparation of the Annual Report of the First Circuit Court of Appeals.
In order to qualify for this position, you need to be a law school graduate and admitted to practice before the highest court of a State, Territory, Commonwealth, or Possession of the United States.
Other qualities in the right candidate include excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work on a team and the ability to be a self-starter.
There are some great benefits available for the right candidate. The pay range is from $60,156-$75,222. Benefits include annual sick leave, health and life insurance, employee-paid long-term disability and long-term care insurance, pre-tax flexible spending accounts, retirement.
