Katt Williams Fight Leads to Comic's Arrest
Katt Williams was arrested following a bar fight in Seattle. The Katt Williams fight is just the latest in a series of bizarre incidents involving the comic as he seems to be going through his Charlie Sheen meltdown moment.
On Sunday afternoon, Williams allegedly exchanged words with some patrons at the World Sports Grille in Seattle. During the fight, the comic is said to have brandished a pool cue at the bar's manager and refused orders to leave the bar, reports The Post-Standard.
During the incident, TMZ reports that Williams followed a family outside to their car where he threw a rock at the car and flicked a cigarette through the car's window, hitting a woman just below her eye.
It's not entirely clear what started the bar fight, but a headline involving Katt Williams is not that surprising nowadays. In the past week alone, the 39-year-old comic has been involving in a series of strange incidents.
On Friday, Williams was accused of attacking some fans during his comedy show when they tried to take a picture with the comic. Williams didn't even bother to make the scheduled performance the previous night, reports the Post-Standard.
Earlier last week, Williams was involved in a low-speed vehicle chase with California police that culminated with the actor slapping a Target employee. Williams had reportedly led police on a chase as he rode an electric motorbike. He then somehow showed up at a Target store where he argued with an employee and slapped the employee in the face. He then made his getaway using the same electric motorbike.
For the bar fight, Williams has been charged with harassment, assault, and obstructing police. Prosecutors in California are still reviewing the electric vehicle chase and Target incident.
Prior to last week, Williams had already faced a host of legal troubles. He was arrested following another fight after allegedly hitting someone over the head with a bottle, and he was being sued in separate cases for being a no-show at a performance and assaulting his former assistant.
Katt Williams is seemingly trying to single-handedly prop up the struggling legal industry by providing a host of legal work for criminal defense and personal injury attorneys. But he may soon find the legal consequences of his alleged actions to be not so funny.
