Judge Sends Two Miss San Antonios to Pageant After Legal Dispute

Miss San Antonio Dominique Ramirez, 17, was stripped of her crown after she was allegedly told that she needed to "lay off the tacos" during a bikini photo shoot.

Sad, as nobody likes jabs to be made about their weight - especially during something as skin-baring and revealing as a bikini shoot.

Officially, pageant authorities claimed that Ramirez lost her crown because she was insubordinate, reports USA Today.

After all, pageant queens are supposed to be all smiles and niceness (and sugar and spice), with a truly strong wish to end hunger and create world peace. That's why they want to be Miss America in the first place.

The runner-up to the Miss San Antonio competition, Ashley Dixon, 21, was crowned Miss San Antonio in Ramirez's stead - until recently. Ramirez sued and has won in court, winning back the coveted Miss San Antonio crown.

But what of the runner-up, who so briefly had a taste of Miss San Antonio glory? Dixon was given the title "Miss Bexar County" after Ramirez's title was reinstated. She would have been eligible for the Miss Texas contest. And, there's a third Miss San Antonio that is able to vie for the big title: Selena Affram, 23, who is Miss Collegiate San Antonio, reports USA Today.

The Miss Texas winner goes on to compete for Miss America.

Though, maybe Dixon was displeased with her crowning and then her recent de-crowning by the court. Dixon has resigned her title as Miss Bexar County, essentially dropping herself out of the running for the Miss Texas competition.

Is everyone keeping track of all these Miss San Antonio participants? Good.

So, there are now only two Miss San Antonios vying for Miss Texas - Dominique Ramirez and Miss Collegiate San Antonio Selena Affram.
