Surprise, surprise, a cast member of MTV's "Jersey Shore" was arrested.

This time, it's "Jersey Shore" star Deena Cortese, who was arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J., the town where the popular reality television show is filmed, reports The Associated Press.

To the surprise of no one who watches "Jersey Shore," Deena Cortese was arrested for disorderly conduct after an Ocean County police officer spotted the woman looking "a little intoxicated."

So what does "a little intoxicated" look like?

"Jersey Shore's" Deena Cortese was allegedly standing in the middle of the street slapping cars that drove by, reports the AP. Fist pump!

Cortese was taken to police headquarters and was later released on a summons. A summons is generally a document that requires a criminal defendant to appear before in court at a later date to answer for a criminal charge. These are usually reserved for minor criminal charges like standing in the middle of the street drunk, as the defendant is released from custody and expected to return to court to answer for the charges.

Minor crimes like public intoxication and disorderly conduct, and the process for these crimes, are usually covered by municipal ordinances in the town or county where the crime occurred.

Someone arrested for such a crime will want to contact a criminal defense attorney in the jurisdiction where the crime occurred to ensure that they are represented by someone familiar with the law.

"Jersey Shore's" Deena Cortese was arrested for disorderly conduct for being drunk and slapping cars in public. She probably won't face any jail time for public intoxication, but if she does, "Deena's Adventures in Prison" will probably make great TV.
