Jenna Jameson will not go to jail following her DUI arrest.

The legendary porn star was arrested after she struck a light pole with her car in Orange County, Calif., in May. Jameson suffered some minor injuries, but no one else was hurt.

At the time of her arrest, the 38-year-old Jameson is said to have shown signs of intoxication and reportedly failed a field sobriety test, reports the New York Daily News. She was later charged with a DUI for having both alcohol and prescription drugs, Ambien and Suboxone, in her system. She was also charged with driving without a license.

As a result of Jenna Jameson's DUI arrest, she faced possible jail time. California has a minimum jail term for driving drunk, even for first-time violations. In addition, as Jameson was charged with driving without a license, she could have faced an even longer sentence.

However, Jenna Jameson was able to avoid jail time with her arrest by striking a favorable plea deal with prosecutors. In the deal, Jameson pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence. In exchange, the jail time was dropped, as was the driving without a license charge, reports the Daily News.

As part of the deal, the former porn star was sentenced to three years of informal probation and will have to take part in a three-month alcohol education program. She will also have to take part in a Mothers Against Drunk Driving program.

So in the end, Jenna Jameson's DUI arrest resulted in no jail time thanks to a favorable plea deal. If you are arrested for a DUI, you should talk to an experienced DUI attorney who can also help you avoid the stiffest penalties.
