Guess Which O.J. Prosecutor Landed a True Crime TV Series
Some lawyers get famous by getting into politics. Some lawyers get famous by representing other famous people, or as a result of high profile injuries. And, sometimes, prosecutors can find fame prosecuting the famous.
Attorney Marcia Clark falls into that last camp, and if you didn't know that, just pretend like you did, otherwise some of us are going to start feeling really old. Marcia has seen quite a bit of media attention over the last few years thanks to the recent shows about O.J. Simpson that aired. Clearly, it looks like Clark has been able to parlay those spinoffs into a television opportunity all her own. But it's not like Clark has been idle since the nineties. If you do just a little bit of digging, it's easy to see that Marcia has been working it hard.
Marcia Marcia Marcia
Interestingly, Clark already has an IMDB page. In 2016, she was an interviewee in OJ: Made in America, and she has appeared in countless other news and talk programs. Also, she has even earned credit as an actress as she was in a Pretty Little Liars episode in 2013.
Clark's new show, Marcia Clark Investigates The First 48, is a spinoff of the The First 48 family of true crime style shows. The program focuses on the first 48 hours after major, high profile, crimes. Examples of the cases Clark will cover include Casey Anthony, Robert Blake, Stacey Peterson, and Chandra Levy.
Clark After Dark
While Clark does have one acting credit, her breadth of experience on talk and interview programs likely qualify her well for the true crime series. Additionally, the fact that the new O.J. related series have received critical success, Clark's name has been able to remain a household fixture that garners immediate recognition. Despite Clark's main claim to 15 minutes of lawyer fame dating back to the mid nineties, she has somehow managed to remain relevant.
