Gloria Allred Sued for Poaching John Travolta Accusers

The John Travolta sex assault lawsuit just keeps getting weirder. And in its latest twist, celebrity attorney Gloria Allred's been sued.

Okorie Okorocha, the attorney behind the original suit, is suing Allred for allegedly stealing his clients. After news broke that Travolta was in New York City at the time of the alleged attack, Okorocha reportedly told John Doe No. 1 he'd need to find a new lawyer. He did -- Gloria Allred.

But Okorocha claims Allred then solicited John Doe No. 2 even though he was not looking to change lawyers.

Gloria Allred denies the accusation, according to CNN. She says she didn't even know who John Doe No. 2 was at the time; his name was never made public. Still, Okorocha says he has proof. He attached text messages between himself and John Doe No. 2 to his legal complaint.

That complaint specifically accuses Gloria Allred of intentional interference with contractual relations and prospective economic relations.

In non-legal jargon, Okorocha claims Allred improperly induced the masseurs to breach, or void, their contract for legal representation. He's also asserting that she improperly acted to disrupt their economic relationship, keeping him from collecting fees.

The latter of these two claims is the better one, as attorney-client contracts are at-will. Clients are free to seek new representation. However, attorneys are generally not free to poach another's client -- legally or ethically.

At this moment, no one knows if these allegations are true. But now that Gloria Allred's been sued, we might get a little dirt. And Okie Okorocha might find himself on the wrong side of a defamation lawsuit. Allred is not going down without a fight.
