FL Woman Attacks Boyfriend for Refusing to Have Sex With Her

A Florida man refused to have sex with his girlfriend, and then said something that wasn't too nice, according to police. So the girlfriend, 18-year-old Inez Nunez, got all up in his face.

Nunez, of Coral Springs, faces a domestic battery charge after she allegedly smacked her boyfriend hard and started a brawl, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Nunez's boyfriend called police about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to report the attack, which was allegedly triggered not just by his refusal to copulate, but also by some fightin' words:

He apparently called her "ugly."

Oh no he didn't.

After Inez Nunez's boyfriend refused to have sex with her because of her alleged ugliness, Nunez struck him across the face -- a loud slap heard by the boyfriend's father in a separate part of the house, the Sun Sentinel reports.

The father, alarmed, went to check on the couple and saw Nunez shoving his son -- whose attractiveness cannot be confirmed -- and then fighting with him on the floor, he told police.

When interviewed by officers, Nunez allegedly admitted to the attack. But she claimed her boyfriend choked her and punched her in the chest, police said.

Nunez, however, later backed off from those ugly allegations.

Florida's domestic violence laws cover fights between relatives, as well as people who cohabitate. Nunez and her boyfriend have lived together since October, Miami's WTVJ-TV reports.

Florida laws also specify a minimum of five days in jail for a domestic violence conviction. But a court can order probation or community service instead.

Inez Nunez was booked into jail on a $2,500 bond and then released, WTVJ reports. It's not clear if the couple is still together after their ugly fight over spurned sex.
