Finally, a FindLaw Podcast for Practicing Lawyers
If you haven't heard, FindLaw has launched a new weekly podcast bringing you a brief digest of recent cases, with an emphasis on the brief.
The podcast, appropriately titled "FindLaw's 5in5," discusses five cases each week, in (and you guessed it) under five minutes. We're lawyers bringing other lawyers informative content, in a fun, friendly, and easy-to-digest way. If you're already itching to give it a listen, head on over to the main 5in5 page, or give the play button below a click.
5 Cases in 5 Minutes
The mission behind our new podcast is to help lawyers keep up-to-date on what's going on in courts across the country without taking up too much time. We know how busy lawyers and litigators are, and we also know how little time most lawyers have to read cases and research outside jurisdictions for instructive precedents.
While five minutes may not seem like enough time to get into a case, the podcast's show notes will always provide authoritative and informative additional content so that you can go deeper on the cases that interest you, or are important for your practice.
The Voice
FindLaw's podcaster, Jeremy Winston Conrad, is one of FindLaw's most creative and talented lawyer content creators, and he easily has the smoothest voice out of anyone in the office (your welcome, listeners).
Mr. Conrad is not only a licensed attorney in both New York and Florida (and has been for over a decade), he is an experienced podcaster, an insightful artist, and has a fascinating legal background. Not only has he summarized over 3,000 cases for FindLaw, he has practiced across several areas ranging from criminal defense to immigration law to even providing contract legal services to major corporations. Not to mention, Jeremy served with the Peace Corps for two years before beginning his legal career.
We hope you enjoy our new podcast and we'd love to hear what you think. Feel free to reach out on Facebook or Twitter.
