Enrolling Now: Comprehensive California Family Law Training

Can One Course Make You a California Family Lawyer?

In reality, if you're a California lawyer, all you need to do is get a family law client, and you'll be a family law lawyer. The course provides guidance on how to initiate a matter on behalf of a petitioner and how to respond as the respondent's representative. Specific issues covered include emergency petitions and child custody matters. The course covers discovery in these matters, including your fiduciary duties, and other duties related to obtaining and providing the required and necessary evidence. Also, the course teaches critical trial preparation and alternative dispute resolution strategies and practices. Again, the course takes you through the full process, so you'll even delve into questions about how to enforce judgments and how to make post-judgment motions.
