Drag Queen Robs Bank in Stretchy Pants, Miniskirt

If you're going to pull off a robbery you'll likely be seen by a security camera. Most people opt for a mask to hide their faces but a California man decided the perfect disguise would be to dress in drag instead.

That plan didn't work out so well for Leonard Brown, Jr. who allegedly robbed a Bank of America in Ceres, California in September. He was identified as the robber on Wednesday and a warrant was put out for his arrest.

Not only was he recognized, the 'stretchy pants bandit' didn't even have much fashion sense.

To rob the bank, Brown allegedly put on stretchy pants, a black wig, a black miniskirt, and a very fetching purple purse. Bank of America employees weren't impressed with his ensemble.

Doesn't he know that neon and colored jeans are what's 'in' right now?

After the incident cops chased Brown down the street. They didn't find him but they did find his disguise in a dumpster, according to CBS13.

It doesn't help that he's previously been in trouble with police, judging by the booking photo Sacramento KTXL-TV posted. Even if he hasn't been convicted before the picture indicates that he has been arrested previously.

If you're known to the police no disguise will obscure your identity. At least not in Ceres.

It's unclear how much Brown stole but if he took anything from the bank he could be charged with robbery. The crime involves taking property by force or from another person which this alleged robber appears to have done. The amount taken may make the crime more serious but there's no minimum.

Brown is probably wishing he went the traditional mask route rather than trying to put some flair in his robbery disguise. But at least he looked fierce on camera.
