Dog Gone Wild: J. Lo & Marc Anthony Sued over Pet Pooch Floyd

Things are certainly ruff for Jennifer Lopez and her crooner hubby Marc Anthony. They are getting sued by a flight attendant who claims she was injured by their pet pooch. Talk about a dog gone wild!

The flight attendant, Ms. Lisa Wilson, filed the lawsuit in Brooklyn Federal Court. According to The New York Daily News, while Ms. Wilson was carrying sharp utensils to the famous couple for their meal, the German Shepherd growled at her and then he lunged at her.

When the dog lunged at her, he butted his head against her leg. The impact of the headbutt caused Ms. Wilson to fall backward. She claims that she severely hurt her back from the incident.  

According to the lawsuit, Ms. Wilson claims that the famous couple should have known that the dog had a propensity for violence. She alleges that Mr. Anthony knew of the dog's military training and that he should have known that he was a danger to others.

Ms. Wilson also alleges that Mr. Anthony should have had the dog retrained given that he knew about the dog's past. Ms. Wilson also discovered that the dog has had a similar altercation over silverware before with the famous couple's chef.

Ms. Wilson hired a veterinarian with a Ph.D in zoology to testify that the dog was a menace. The veterinarian, Dr. Karen Overall wrote an 8 page report where she detailed that the dog was indeed a menace and that the famous couple knew this because of his past behavior. The New York Daily News quoted the report as saying, "It is clear to me that Floyd, Mr. Anthony's personal protection dog, behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that consistently endangered humans."

This report was based on findings that Dr. Overall made after she read depositions from everyone on the flight including the famous couple themselves. US Weekly reports that Wilson's lawyer said: "The dog was obviously dangerous . . . and it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone."

It seems like the famous couple was worried about just that. The couple does not even own the dog in question anymore. They sent the pet pooch back to the agency that they got it from. I really hope for them that no one else got herd!
