Doctor's Weight Loss Advice: Have Sex with Me, Vibrating Massages

A weight-loss doctor is facing sexual assault charges after touching patients inappropriately during 'fat-burning' massages.

Arie Oren, who labeled his sexual advances as an "extra-special treat" for shedding pounds, was arrested Monday in Montgomery County, Pa. on indecent-assault charges. Investigators believe he told at least one that sex with him would help her lose weight and another she could burn 200 calories by having an orgasm.

Prosecutors say Arie Oren, 64, touched at least six women inappropriately when they came for consultation at his Conshohocken Weight Control clinic, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Often masking his advances in the guise of "fat-burning massages," the paper says the doctor asked the women to disrobe and then let his hands wander.

Disgraced Dr. Oren often used an electronic massager with a long handle and flat, round head around the victims' thighs and buttocks, telling them that it would break up the fat, police told the Inquirer. He would then move the massager to the patients' genital area and then sometimes inserted his finger into the patients, according to court documents.

In one case, a patient stormed out of his office in spring 2008 after the doctor allegedly touched her genitals, the Inquirer reports. He called after her, the document states, "This visit is on the house because you're so hot."

Oren, has been charged with four counts of aggravated indecent assault and eight counts of indecent assault for his alleged conduct with six patients who range in age from 24 to 59. Each time he committed the acts qualifies as a separate crime.

This isn't Arie Oren's first run in with authorities. The sexual assault charges come a decade after Oren fought to have his medical license reinstated after a conviction on federal racketeering charges, the Inquirer reports.
