DMX Arrested for Reckless Driving, Likely Headed Back to Jail
DMX arrested? Who's surprised?
The rapper, born Earl Simmons, was arrested last night in Arizona after officers clocked him going 102 in a 65 mile per zone without a valid license.
Cited for criminal speed, driving on a revoked license, and reckless driving, DMX was hauled in, but is currently out on bond.
He's sure to soon have a very nice meeting with his probation officer.
And probably the judge, too.
After a number of delays, DMX was released from prison last month after serving seven months of a one year sentence as a result of a probation violation.
Though he's currently a free man, his probation term technically is not over, which means that any criminal violation could land him back in jail for the rest of his term.
Sadly for fans, this DMX arrest is likely to result in another jailhouse stay, as the rapper's original stint wasn't problem free.
While behind bars, the rapper smuggled drugs, was cited for refusing a drug test, and had a few minor altercations with staff.
Now that DMX has been arrested for reckless driving--when he shouldn't have been driving in the first place--it's been made pretty clear that he has little to no respect for the law.
That sort of thing tends to lead to harsher punishments from judges presiding over probation cases.
This entire incident doesn't bode well for DMX. Being arrested for reckless driving is one thing, but when you add in the revoked license and the probation, it gets a whole lot worse.
