Bubba the Love Sponge Liable for Hulk Hogan Sex Tape?
Hulk Hogan's sex tape is floating around and his best friend, radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge, may be responsible for it.
What makes this story even more bizarre is that the person Hogan is having relations with in the video is allegedly Heather Clem, Bubba the Love Sponge's wife.
Hogan has come out and said that he had no knowledge that he was being filmed while having sex. And the sex tape may vindicate Hogan. After the deed is done and Hogan leaves, Bubba the Love Sponge reportedly appears in the video and tells his wife, "If we ever did want to retire, all we'd have to do is use this footage," reports TMZ.
The Love Sponge's wife reportedly responded, "You'd never do that." Bubba then says, "I wouldn't do that, you'd be the biggest rat, you'd be dead."
If the allegations are true, it appears that Bubba the Love Sponge was definitely in on the sex tape and perhaps allowed Hogan to have sex with his wife for the sole purpose of creating the sex tape. And if the allegations are true, it's possible that Bubba the Love Sponge could see a civil lawsuit (and potentially criminal charges).
While Hogan says he got permission to have sex with Bubba's wife, Hogan indicates that he was completely unaware that he was being filmed and so gave no permission for the sex tape. So if Hogan decided to sue the person responsible for the video, he could sue for invasion of privacy and harassment and seek money damages.
In addition, Hogan has indicated that he will press criminal charges. It remains to be seen how that may play out.
As details of the Hulk Hogan sex tape emerge, Hogan is evolving from an object of public ridicule to a somewhat sympathetic figure. The wrestler was not only allegedly betrayed by his best friend, but was set up in such a way as to be publicly humiliated.
