'Brothel on Wheels' Cab Drivers Indicted in NYC

If you thought Hustler's mobile strip club was ridiculous, meet Vincent George, Sr. and Vincent George, Jr., a father-and-son team accused of operating a brothel on wheels. The pair has been indicted on charges of promoting prostitution, sex trafficking and money laundering.

Their business partners, six Manhattan cab drivers, have also been indicted. Together, the group allegedly shuttled women around town while they engaged in sex acts in the cabs' back seats. They charged between $200 to $500 a session.

The Georges allegedly transported the prostitutes from Pennsylvania, according to Gothamist. They would threaten them, take all of their money and even branded them with tattoos. At least three women were inked with "King Koby," Junior's nickname.

The women involved were dependant on the George family, explains a District Attorney press release. They were given just enough to live on, and were expected to meet quotas. One victim saw very little of the $500,000 she made last year.

Senior and Junior will no doubt get the brunt of the blame -- and the jail time -- for the brothel on wheels scheme. But the cab drivers seem to think they should get off easy. A defense attorney reportedly doesn't think it's a big deal, and asked the Daily News, "What livery car driver doesn't know where you can get a girl?"

Though this may be true, a cab driver that helps his fare find a prostitute has arguably broken the law. Especially when, as the brothel on wheels indictments assert, he gets paid by a prostitute's pimp to recommend her.
