'Black Madam' Butt Injection Doc Arrested at Philly Pumping Party
Philadelphia police have arrested Black Madam -- a "transgender 'goth hip-hop artist'" known for administering illegal silicone butt injections. Black Madame, legally known as Padge Windslowe, was picked up at a local 'pumping party' where she was getting ready to dole out some injections.
Police caught up with her after a 23-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with a pulmonary embolism. The silicone used in Black Madam's butt injections had migrated into the woman's lungs.
Along with the suspect, police apprehended Black Madam's butt injection kit. It included syringes, silicone and crazy clue, which NBC reports was used to close up injection wounds.
The 42-year-old is being held, and has been charged with conspiracy, aggravated assault, theft by deception and reckless endangerment, according to the Philadelphia Daily News. This is also not the first time she has been investigated for her less-than-legal actions.
Locals likely heard of Black Madam in connection with the 2011 death of a Claudia Seye Aderotimi. The student died after receiving a butt injection, and the Daily News reports that police are still investigating the incident.
Both her death and the other victim's hospital stay are good reasons for why you should avoid silicone butt injections. Besides being known to cause all sorts of health problems, they are illegal when not performed by a medical doctor.
Because she isn't a doctor, Black Madam's butt injections will likely land her in jail this time. Plus, you can't run around injecting things into a woman's body after lying to her face.
