Arizona Couple to Pursue Harvard Law Degree Together

When couples choose a law school, they might have to compromise a bit on where they choose to attend. But not Ron and Sarah Gonski.

The couple made a pact to attend law school together, presumably at the best school to accept them both. This fall the couple will join the class of 2014 at Harvard University.

That's right; the best law school this couple could get into was only one of the best in country. So how did they do it?

Well, their story isn't exactly copyable. Both Ron and Sarah were dissatisfied with their jobs so in 2007 they decided to make a change, reports the ABA Journal.

They fell hard for the "law degree opens doors line." But they didn't bite the bullet right away.

The couple spent two more years in their unfulfilling jobs and then tried a different career path. Before committing to legal careers, the couple taught English for two years in public schools in Spain, reports The Arizona Republican.

If the cute makes you want to vomit a little, that's ok. If it doesn't, just wait.

The Gonski's applied to law school last October and a few months later Sarah was invited to interview at Harvard. To celebrate the couple "slow jogged" to the Rocky theme song.

That's right, they exercised in celebration.

The story is just too perfect but does it have a happy ending? The couple, who have been together since high school, are setting off on perhaps their most trying ordeal yet - to survive law school together. Best of luck to them.
